PARKING

A new draft parking strategy is shortly to be released by MSDC for consultation.  HHDBA is very much part of the process, joining with the Business Associations of Burgess Hill and East Grinstead to underline the umbilical cord between parking and business in the three towns.  Ian Goodridge is leading for us and if you have any views on the future parking strategy, do let him know at orchards.ian@zen.co.uk.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

HHDBA has been taking a leading part in working with the Council as they prepare an economic development action plan.  Members will receive a brief on this separately.

THE FUTURE OF HAYWARDS HEATH

As members will recall, we consulted you about headline priorities for business in Haywards Heath. We have now joined with the Town Council MSDC and other organisations in Haywards Heath to take part in a
consultation meeting to see how we can reach a consensus on the way forward in the post-Thornfield era.

HAYWARDS HEATH TOWN DAY

The HHDBA Town Centre Group has been working closely with the Town Council to set up Town Day on 11th September. The event will be bigger and better than ever before and will include an Eco-Fair. More details soon.
